Another bad week in a year of bad weeks for celebrity deaths! This time it's Doris Roberts that died on April 18th and Prince, who passed away today. Roberts, who played the mother on Everybody Loves Raymond, passed away in her sleep, according to the report on the CBC news site. She was 90 years old. Prince was the 57 year old singer of Purple Rain and Kiss (remember those?). The article on MSN news reports that he was found at home, unresponsive. Cause of death unknown at the moment. I liked both of these talented people. Doris Roberts made me laugh; Prince made me sing and dance a lot in the '80s. Not sure why this year has seen so many celebrities pass away but boy, it's been a lot already. I don't have any theories about this but would love to hear it if you do. All I can say right now is, RIP to both of these people. Update: We lost another one on April 22nd - female wrestler, Chyna. Chyna, WWE wrestler and entertainer, dead at 45 - CNN.com Thanks, @William Clements for letting me know.
